Click the document below to see a presentation that was made by the Fort Worth League of Neighborhood Associations, which represents community watch groups, neighborhood beautification groups, and historical district groups in Fort Worth (not mandatory HOAs).  The FWLNAs works very closely with the City of Fort Worth Office of Neighborhood Services.   I’ve been to their events; they are a solid, legitimate organization working to educate homeowners in Fort Worth.

What are the Steering and Negotiating Committees

Steering Committee

At the second meeting, volunteers were asked to participate on the Steering Committee. The formation and actions of the Committee were voted on and passed by all attending. The Committee will actively research and negotiate a community approved lease agreement and will represent the SEAC group. The Committee will also keep all participants up to date as to current events and happenings. The Steering Committee are homeowners just like other participants and it is everyone's individual responsibility to read the oil and gas lease and decide if the SEAC lease agreement is right for their needs.

Negotiating Committee

The Negotiating Committee is comprised of one representative from each community. It is the negotiating committee's goal to talk with and negotiate with the leasing/gas companies and represent the SEAC organization.
